Professor Luis Silva Morais as Chairman of CIRSF – Research Centre on Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Sector, in scientific partnership with the Bank of Portugal and the Portuguese Authority of Insurance and Pension Funds opened and chaired the CIRSF 2015 Annual Conference on major trends on regulation and supervision of the financial sector, held on the 25 th June 2015, at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in which intervened as speakers among others Andre Enria, Chairperson of the European Banking Authority, Professor Viral Acharya of NY Stern School of Business, the President of the Portuguese Authority of Insurance and Pension Funds, Professor Almaça, the Vice Governor of the Bank of Portugal, Professor Pedro Duarte Neves and the General Secretary of the Banking Single Supervisory Mechanism of Frankfurt, Pedro Gustavo Teixeira (see, enclosed, the Program of the 25 June 2015 Cirsf International Conference).
