LSM/SGC Law Firm reinforces team of international consultants - Professor Andrew Godwin – South Africa and AustraliaLuis Silva Morais, Sergio Gonçalves do Cabo – Law Firm, pursues the reinforcement of its network of independent consultants, which represents one of the key distinctive features of the project of our boutique Law Firm, namely in the area of regulation and supervision of the financial sector corresponding to an area of growing focus of the Firm, through an agreement of professional cooperation initiated as from August 2019, in that capacity of independent Consultant, with Professor Andrew Godwin, a renowned international specialist in financial regulation, Associate Dean da Melbourne Law School (Australia), and consultant with significant activity and involvement with the jurisdiction of South Africa. Andrew Godwin assisted the South African government in the preparation of the Twin Peaks Model of financial supervision adopted therein, thus ensuring coverage in articulation with the Firm Consultant for Mozambique, of such South African jurisdiction and also coverage of the Australian jurisdiction where he also develops his professional activities.
