Professor Luís Morais, Founding Partner of LSM/SGC has now been designated Vice President of the Appeal Panel of the Single Resolution Board (SRB), of which he was already a full Member as from the last quarter of 2015

This position is held on an independent capacity which does not interfere with his other professional and scientific activities. The Appeal Panel of the SRB has been developing an ever growing activity in the wake of the resolution of Banco Popular in June 2017 and an expansion of its intervention is to be expected due to ongoing initiatives of SRB within the preventive arm of banking resolution.
