Professor Luis Silva Morais designated Full Member of the Appeal Panel of the Single Resolution Board – November 2016

Professor Luis Silva Morais initially appointed as Alternate Member of the Single Resolution Board - SRB (November 2015) has now been designated Full Member of the Appeal Panel of the Single Resolution Board (the European banking resolution authority) – November 2016. In 2017 this Appeal Panel of the SRB will enter its second year of functioning and is expected to be called to intervene potentially in important decisions of the SRB concerning the preventive side of banking resolution (resolution plans of banks and MREL).
