Professor Luis Silva Morais participates in informal meeting of Appeal Panels of European Financial Supervision Authorities and discusses European Banking Union in a Conference at the University of Bologna - September 2016

Professor Luis Silva Morais participates in informal meeting of various Appeal Panels of European Financial Supervision Authorities as member of the Appeal Panel of the Single Resolution Board in Bologna – Italy (16-17-18 September). Aside that meeting he intervenes as Speaker in a Conference on the Banking Union organized by the European Banking Institute (EBI) at the University of Bologna and coordinated by Professor Marco Lamandini (of the same University), discussing the application of the proportionality principle in banking resolution procedures bearing in mind the landmark case of Banco Espírito Santo (BES) in Portugal.
