Victor Anjos Santos
Victor Anjos Santos has dual citizenship (Portuguese and Angolan). After his Graduation in Law at the University of Lisbon (FDL) in 1991, he began his career as an attorney-at-law at “Jurilis – Leonel, Gentil & Associados – Law Firm”. He is since then a full member of the Portuguese Bar Association. Between 1994 and 2007, he acted as independent practitioner in Portugal, providing legal services especially in the areas of Civil Law (contracts, real estate and family law), Corporate and Commercial Law, Employment, Criminal Law, Public/Administrative Law and Tax, with a major focus on dispute resolution. From 1994 to 1998 he was also appointed, on commission, as legal adviser to the staff of the Ombudsman’s office in Portugal (‘Provedor de Justiça’), in core areas of Education, Social Security, Health and Sports. Having completed a Conflict Mediation Course certified by IMAP, the Portuguese Institute of Mediation and Arbitration, accredited by the Portuguese Ministry of Justice, he is since then a recognized Conflict Mediator. In 2007, he became a legal practitioner and consultant at “AVM Lawyers” in Luanda, Angola. Vitor Anjos Santos is a full member of the Angolan Bar Association since 2008. In 2010, he joined “CNS Lawyers” in Luanda. Since 2012 he has been acting as independent Legal Consultant and Attorney-at-law in Luanda/Angola and, in that capacity, he is an Individual Consultant of Luís Silva Morais/Sérgio Gonçalves do Cabo, Law Firm, for any matters pertaining to the Angolan jurisdiction since September 2014.
